Ingredients

PEEL

  • ½ Lemon

CRUSH

  • 1 Small plum, chopped
  • 2 oz. Fresh sweet cherries, chopped
  • cup Sugar
  • cup Red wine vinegar

COMBINE

  • ½ cup Vodka
  • 2 cups Club soda, chilled
  • Crushed ice

Instructions

  • Peel lemon with a vegetable peeler (do not include white pith).
  • Crush plum, cherries, lemon peel, and sugar in a glass bowl; let sit 30 minutes. Stir in vinegar, cover, and refrigerate at least 48 hours.
  • Strain shrub through a fine-mesh sieve, pressing solids to extract as much juice as possible. Discard solids.
  • Combine shrub, vodka, and club soda; serve over ice.
