Leaving this fondue version of coffee & donuts for St. Nick guarantees you a stocking filled with more than a lump of coal. For chocolate fondue, omit the coffee liqueur, and give milk or dark chocolate a try, but don’t skip the doughnut hole dippers.

  • Fondue Pot



  • 1 lb. semisweet chocolate


  • ⅔ cup heavy cream
  • 2 Tbsp. instant espresso powder
  • 6 Tbsp. coffee-flavored liqueur, such as Kahlúa


  • Chop chocolate and place in a large bowl; set aside.
  • Heat cream, espresso powder, and liqueur in a saucepan over medium-high until it begins to boil; pour over chocolate and let stand 8 minutes. Whisk mixture until chocolate melts and is smooth. Transfer to warm fondue pot.
