Ingredients
PURÉE
- 2 cups Chopped fresh cantaloupe
- 2 cups Water, divided
MUDDLE
- 1 Tbsp. Chopped fresh basil
- 2 Tbsp. Superfine sugar
- 3 Tbsp. Fresh lime juice
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Purée cantaloupe and 1 cup water in a blender; strain through a fine-mesh sieve, pressing solids to extract as much juice as possible. Discard solids.
- Muddle basil and sugar together until fragrant. Whisk in remaining 1 cup water, lime juice, and salt, then stir in cantaloupe juice. Chill agua fresca until ready to serve.
