Ingredients

PURÉE

  • 2 cups Chopped fresh cantaloupe
  • 2 cups Water, divided

MUDDLE

  • 1 Tbsp. Chopped fresh basil
  • 2 Tbsp. Superfine sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. Fresh lime juice
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Purée cantaloupe and 1 cup water in a blender; strain through a fine-mesh sieve, pressing solids to extract as much juice as possible. Discard solids.
  • Muddle basil and sugar together until fragrant. Whisk in remaining 1 cup water, lime juice, and salt, then stir in cantaloupe juice. Chill agua fresca until ready to serve.
